Gene Culberson, Pit Master of Back Woods Bar-b-Que has gained a reputation of one of the best cooks in SC. Cooking approx. 30 events a year along with his wife Tesa, they have gained a winning reputation in SCBA but also a formidable competitor in KCBS.  Back Woods Bar-B-Que finished 2014 as SCBA Master Barbecue Runner up, only to come back and win the 2015 & 2016 SCBA Master Barbecue State Championship.
